This has been a foundational book for me in my ministry. Bob breaks the book into four areas. First he addresses the leader, next he speaks about the task of leading worship, he then moves on to healthy tnesions within ministry and closes with how to establish right relationships.

Worship Leaders we are not rock stars

We become what we worship
G.K Beale
Paul tells the church in Romans that from the beggining humans have had the tendancy to worship created things rather than the creator. We exchange the truth of God for a lie. This book explores the theme that we slowly become what we worship over time. What we worship shapes and molds us into its image.

The Jesus Storybook Bible
This is such a refreshing version of the Bible designed for kids. While it is not complete, the book takes you through a journey of the Bible visiting the foundational stories. Each narrative is accompanied by pictures to help tell the story. My favorite part is that at the end of each story the author always shows how the story points back to Jesus. Jesus is shown as the common thread connecting all of the Old Testament stories to him.
