MADE TO WORSHIP

The goal of the chapel leadership course is to teach each student in 6 different overlapping areas that will allow them to have the skill set to effectivley lead worship.  Students will learn about theology and the story of God as they discover the cycle of revelaton and response in worship.  They will become adept to current technology specifically Ipads and how to use them in a worship setting.  They will learn the basics of audio and video technology, including how to use a sound board, and the basic understanding of a sound system.  Students will develop their personal craft as a musician as they learn music theory and how to build chord charts for leading worship.  They will develop the neccisary skills to work together on a team and worship band, developing their communication and listening skills to become team players.  They will grow in their leadership abilities learning how to engage and inspire those they lead as they model their faith on a daily.  During this journey the students will be given many practical oppertunities to work out what they are learning through: leading their peers in chapel each week, leading worship at camp, planning a night of worship and much more.
