The primary role of the worship pastor is a teaching role.  We  have the joy and responsibility of communicating the gospel through song, prayer, scripture and other elements of the service.  We also pastor those we oversee in our ministry including the band, projection and sound teams ect.  Worship pastors should strive to embody these charactor traits.

1. Above Reproach (1 Tim. 3:2 and Titus 1:6-7)

“Gifting may gain a man a platform, but character is what gives him a voice.”

2. A One-Woman Man (1 Tim. 3:2 and Titus 1:6)

Having a healthy understanding of marital faithfulness and the covenant promise.

3. Sober-Minded, Self Controlled, and Disciplined (1 Tim. 3:2 and Titus 1:8)

Pastors should be driven by the Truth, loving gentle and caring.

4. Respectable and Mature (1 Tim. 3:2, 6-7)

Holiness should be an evidence of grace in our lives.

5. Hospitable (1 Tim. 3:2 and Titus 1:8)

A love for the people of God is a mark of Christian maturity and obedience.
